Google Classroom - Each Lions teacher, as well as most Encore teachers use Google Classroom every day.  It is very handy to post warm-up questions, assignments, reminders, announcements, and class documents.  Make sure you check this app on your iPad each day to make sure you are not missing anything!  You can even log in and complete your assignments when you are absent.  Within this app, we also have access to use Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Drive, which makes streamlining our classrooms a lot easier!

YouTube - Mr. Hafertepen has a channel on YouTube where students are able to watch different video clips related to the topics they are studying.  There are also several different channels that are used in other classes to help explain current events or different science topics.  To see Mr. H's channel, please click on the "Social Studies" link on the Lions' main page.

MobyMax - Some of our Lions are enrolled in an RTI (Response to Intervention) class that uses MobyMax to help fill in some missing skills needed in Math, Language Arts, or Reading.  Students are able to work at their own pace through the different modules and their progress is assessed regularly.  We also use MobyMax to collect some baseline data about our students such as grade levels in reading or math.

Twitter - Want to know about some current topics being discussed?  A few of your teachers have Twitter accounts to help keep you up to date on current events!  Check out each subject's page to follow them on Twitter.

Remind - The best way we get in touch with your students, besides Google Classroom or email, is through an App called Remind.  We are able to safely text and/or email everyone without giving out any personal numbers.
